After having presented their artistic research UNKNOWN SPACES at the UN headquarters in Vienna, Nairobi, and New York City, Janina Janke and Maurice de Martin finally come to a full circle with their last stop at the „Palais des Nations“ in Geneva. 

From June 6th-10th 2016, the UKS-team visited the United Nations Office at Geneva and interacted with its staff members in more than 15 one-hour interviews. The findings of this fourth and final research-phase will be presented together with the outcomes of the investigations in and around the three other UN headquarters at the FAR°-Festival Nyon as well as directly on-site at UNOG.

During their one week festival-residency in August 2016 (Aug 11-17), you can visit the artists at “Nyon-headquarters”. Two guided tours through the UNOG compound (Aug 11 & 12) combined with a lecture performance at the Assembly Hall, a documentary exhibition, a movie night, and a participative workshop invite the audience to temporarily dive into an intriguing world between artistic research, political theater, and participatory artwork.
